The Aspinall Arms, in the beautiful Ribble Valley, in rural Lancashire is a truly local pub & restaurant that welcomes visitors from far and wide.

When J.R.R Tolkien first set foot in the Ribble Valley in the 1940’s he uncovered a landscape of wide, rippling rivers, deep wooded conifer groves and misty green Lancashire countryside. It was to become his inspiration for ‘Middle Earth’, and the places he visited, often found their way into the famous Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The Aspinall Arms provides great food, excellent accommodation, real ales, top quality live music featuring bands and musicians from across the globe, a variety of special events including The Middle Earth Beer Festival and above all real hospitality.

Why not call in if you’re in the region.
